    ORIENT EXPRESSNET is back and better than before! I have tried to make this one faster, easier to use, look nicer, have more content and it works properly in both IE5 and Netscape 4.7 which if you're not using, you can download from the help page above. It works at a screen size of 800 by 600, but will still look normal at higher screen resolutions. Plus, if you use different font sizes with IE5, it won't ruin the layout like the last one!

    LEYTON ORIENT 2-1 SARFEND Three home wins on the trot now for the Orient as they continued their march over Sarfend with first half goals from Kevin Nugent and Iyseden Christie. Another two places up the league to 19th now and looking fully comfortable as the O's look to build towards next season.

    MORE TRANSFER ACTIVITY Following the news below about Lockwood, Orient today completed the sigings of Nugent and Brazier from Cardiff. Nugent is a old Orient favourite up front after helping them to promotion last time we got out of this division, and Brazier is a midfielder. Both are in the squad for the Saturday match at Torquay.

    Matthew Lockwood has been put up for sale by Leyton Orient. He has continued to stall over a new contract which was very lucrative by 3rd division standards according to Paul Brush and the offer has now been retracted as Orient try and get some money for him before he becomes a free agent in the summer.

    Lockwood has since claimed that he is happy at the Orient and that the offer was withdrawn just as he was about to sign it.

    DEVELOPMENTS OF THIS SITE Orient ExpressNet will undergo it's seasonal facelift during the summer, but will take on a different format as from next season. Anything that is available easily from elsewhere shall be assumed - you can get to it easily enough from the various links the site will continue to have. However, it will concentrate on material that only appears on here such as my own match reports, editorial analysis, rumours, humour, stats, photos and anything else that will be easier to provide given the pressures of time and what people would most like to see.

    Regular comment on latest rumours/news stories will appear (while assuming some reader knowledge of the news - or refer to it) every week and opinions will be aired as to anything going on as usual.
